Thermal radiation and nanophotonics have played an important role in solar energy utilization, heat management and temperature measurements, as well as military applications. We investigate thermal radiation and nanophotonics for power generation and energy conversion devices, as well as spectral absorptance of nanostructures for solar energy harvesting.
